Serving urban Indigenous and non-Indigenous Seniors/Elders 65+ within the Chetwynd area.

Talysa can provide non-medical services to seniors such as: light housekeeping, grocery delivery, friendly visiting, transportation, light yard work, and snow shoveling.

She helps seniors continue to live independently by helping them complete day-to-day tasks.

Talysa also hosts Elder’s Bingo & Lunch every Wednesday from 12pm-2pm and the monthly Senior’s Dinner last Monday of each month at the main Tansi Friendship Centre Building.

Join us on September 30th at the Royal Canadian Legion to recognize and honor those impacted by the residential school system. Featuring traditional drumming, a mural unveiling, and a special gathering. Wear orange. Elders: Please call (250) 788-2996 by the 27th for transportation needs.

Join us on September 25th for a Senior's Dinner led by Heather Lirette, focusing on 'Navigating Chetwynd's Health Care System.' Enjoy a free meal and gain insights to enhance your healthcare experience in Chetwynd.

Join us on August 28th for a special senior's dinner, dedicated to skin cancer awareness. Open to all seniors 65+ and entirely free, courtesy of the Better At Home Program. Special guest Heather Lirette will share insights on the topic.

Join us at the Tansi Friendship Centre for our Senior's Summer Safety Dinner on July 28th. Everyone aged 65 and over is welcome to enjoy a delicious dinner and learn crucial summer safety tips from guest speaker Heather Lirette.
