National Indigenous Day Celebration at Spirit Park, June 21st

Celebrate National Indigenous Day with Tansi Friendship Centre on June 21st at Spirit Park from 12pm to 4pm! This special day, aligning with the summer solstice, is a wonderful opportunity to honor and learn about the rich cultures, traditions, and histories of Indigenous peoples.

Join us for an eventful day featuring a FREE barbecue, traditional activities, singing, dancing, drumming, crafts, and games. There will be something for everyone to enjoy! Not only will you get to partake in fun-filled activities, but you also stand a chance to win prizes.

Learn to play ‘puhgesee’, a traditional hand game. This game is a unique and engaging way to connect with Indigenous culture and heritage.
